Junior and senior high youth

Sunday Morning Fellowship/Educational Hour
On Sunday mornings, Jr. and Sr. High students are encouraged to fellowship with one another and/or join ongoing seminars. Our more rigorous focus on Biblical literacy and Christian education takes place on Wednesday evenings.

We offer intergenerational seminars each semester on a specific topic (typically several consecutive Sunday mornings before worship). During these special classes, we encourage people of all ages to learn and grow together.

Wednesday Nights @ Cedar Heights (i.e. Youth Group)
The Junior/Senior Highs meet on Wednesdays as part of our Wednesday Nights @ Cedar Heights program (excluding the summer months, May-August). Some Wednesday meals are intentionally intergenerational in order to foster community formation and Christian identity. Wednesdays in December focus on rehearsing and preparing to lead worship during one Sunday in Advent.

The typical schedule looks like this:
6:00 to 6:30 Gather for shared meal and fellowship
6:30 to 7:00 Jr/Sr. High Bible study and discussion (relevant topic)
7:00 to 7:30 Shenanigans with Jr. and Sr. High

Overnight Lock-Ins
Cedar Heights offers our youth overnight lock-ins (usually two per year) which typically take place on a Friday from 7:00 pm-7:00 am and include a meal. This is a great opportunity to be evangelical and to invite and meet new friends!
